Entry Judging for Gravity Forms provides a structured, impartial review process for Gravity Forms submissions. It was developed for scholarship committees, award programs, grant reviews, hiring panels, photo contests, and other situations where multiple reviewers need to evaluate submissions independently while minimizing bias.
Judges review entries without seeing identifying information, score submissions independently, and only gain access to final rankings once the review process is complete. The plugin is designed to support transparent, repeatable review workflows while remaining flexible enough for programs of different sizes.
The plugin is available for use on CSU WordPress sites at no cost.
Available features
- Blind review – Hide identifying information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, websites, and uploaded filenames so judges evaluate submissions based only on the information intended for review.
- Independent scoring – Each judge records their own scores, which are stored separately and automatically saved.
- Judge management – Designate WordPress users as judges without granting administrative privileges.
- Configurable scoring – Choose the scoring range appropriate for each review process.
- Field selection – Decide exactly which form fields are visible during judging.
- Results reveal lock – Rankings remain hidden until every assigned judge has completed their reviews, with an administrative override available when needed.
- Ranked results – View average scores, individual judge scores, completion status, and final rankings after judging concludes.
- Conflict-of-interest recusal – Judges may abstain from evaluating specific entries without preventing the overall review process from completing.
- Review progress tools – Progress indicators, unscored filters, and navigation shortcuts help judges efficiently work through large entry pools.
- Single-entry review mode – An optional focused interface displays one submission at a time for distraction-free evaluation.
- Entry freeze – Prevent late submissions from changing the judging pool once evaluations have begun.
- Contest reset and archive – Preserve the final rankings from one review cycle before clearing scores for the next round, allowing the same form to be reused year after year.
- Multiple form support – Manage independent judging workflows for multiple Gravity Forms.
- Weighted rubrics – Define multiple scoring criteria with configurable weights and scoring ranges.
- Judge feedback – Collect qualitative comments alongside numeric scores for each submission.
- Reminder emails – Automatically notify judges who still have outstanding reviews before a deadline.
