Making Simple Text Edits
If you want to edit text on an existing page, please follow the directions below:
- First, log in with your eID to your site (this assumes you have sufficient privileges to edit your site). The Sign In link can most frequently be found in the site’s footer, or you could alternatively just type http://www.YOURDOMAIN.colostate.edu/Secure/Login.aspx into your browser (obviously changing YOURDOMAIN to the site you are trying to edit).
- Next navigate to the page you wish to edit. Once you are on the page, click the “Edit” link (next to the header containing the text to be edited – typically there is only one Edit link on the page, unless there are 2 or more modules on the page).
- Next, you should be presented with a MS Word-like interface in which you can simply select the text to be edited and update or remove it.
- Click Update to save your changes.
