Creating Rules in Outlook

  1. Right-click the message that you want to base the rule on, and then click Rules –> Create Rule on the shortcut menu.
  2. Select the conditions to isolate the message.  Eg, you could select all messages from a certain sender with a certain subject, etc.
  3. Finally, under “Do the Following” select what you want done with the message, such as moving it to a particular folder, the trash, etc.
